If you could make a magic wish for a futuristic gadget or high-tech innovation, what would your item do?

Diagnose and cure all types of cancer. It’d be a walk in kind of machine (kinda like the stand up tanning bed) and you’d go in and it would scan you, like the MRI’s do now, give an instant image of what’s going on, give you the diagnosis and then treatment options, you and your doc pick the best one and then like magic it sends powerful cancer killing stuff through you that’s 100% effective in all cases. That’s what I would invent.

I like this idea! But it would also scan for everything else, not only cancer. Just walk in and it will tell you everything that is wrong with your body, from cancer to simpler things like vitamin and nutrient deficiencies.

yeah I like both of these ideas!!! Good job girls!

cuz…(kicking at the dirt)…my idea was to zap people with some kind of pointer that had different settings on it. Like if they were talking too much …zap their mouths are shut….OR their mouths can keep moving but nothing comes out.
…when they are in your way at the grocery store..you point and click at the cart and a wheel falls off giving you the lead position!

        the ideas are endless 🙂

        Yeah, I like that Laura!

    • January 7, 2010 11:13 AM

Wow, that’s awesome Sue! You just set the bar pretty high here. 😀

      • January 7, 2010 12:29 PM

take the bar down…she’s too damn tall to be putting the bar up!

  2. January 7, 2010 10:22 AM

Ya, now that Sue and Laura took the high ground, we have to agree. Cause I was thinking selfish too.

Robotic Husband! It would do all the things a husband is supposed to do but it would not have the ability of speaking!

  4. January 7, 2010 11:12 AM

YES!!! A device to cure all that ails us! Everything that is bad in our body…it just erases! Fat, cancer, diabetes, HBP…you name it! Cure for all!

    • January 7, 2010 11:17 AM

Wouldn’t that be just AWESOME? *sigh*

    • January 7, 2010 11:39 AM

There’s never a cure “all” so that’s why I chose cancer. You can do something about fat, HBP, things like that with diet and exercise. I also don’t think a cure all would do the human race any good. We’re lazy enough as it is!

      • January 7, 2010 1:08 PM

        well fine!

        • January 7, 2010 3:58 PM

Gotta make you work for something! And look, you’ve lost 3 already. Way to go!

      • January 7, 2010 5:30 PM

That’s a good point Sue. Just think how lazy we would all be if we had NOTHING to worry about when it comes to our health. VERY good point.

Something that will make us live forever with no problems….at all! 🙂

Make it so I could learn things instantly and remember them! I’d love to learn several languages fluently but it takes too bloody long and unless one uses them constantly, one forgets them.

    • January 7, 2010 5:32 PM

I like that ~S~! I would like to learn a few languages myself but as you say, it takes so long and if you don’t use it often, you forget it.

An airplane that can bring me in an hour or so to Europe. That I would love because my family lives there. But it should be affordable for everyone 😀

    • January 7, 2010 11:08 PM

Now that WOULD be nice Ellen! Where is your family Ellen? Where are you from?

  8. January 7, 2010 8:49 PM

Tell me what men are thinking when you pass them by….ha! that would be a hoot!

    • January 7, 2010 11:08 PM

Yeah, not so much. You wouldn’t WANT to know what us guys are thinking when we walk by. LOL

  9. January 8, 2010 7:23 AM

I SWEAR I do want to know. Secretly I think the key to all the mysteries in life is in what men REALLY think. lololol.
