Well as an unemployed college graduate, I will be going to southern Oregon. I live in Portland where it’s very rainy. It’s a bit nicer in the south, and will suffice for great vacation.
We may make a few “day trips” but mostly Husband is going to be working on the kitchen project in his not-so-secret workshop. He’s already made progress by forming large piles of sawdust and wood shavings. He is very proud.
Looks like the bad Economy is a common answer. Ditto here, but I’m hoping we will be able to go camping a little bit. That should be fun. I am feeling a little restless I wish I could take a road trip.
We will probably go camping for a week at our normal spot and the rest of the summer will be spent at the neighborhood pool, the beach or out on our boat.
I’m with JAM. We put our boat in the water last Friday so she’s ready when we are. I love getting it to the dock. Other than that, not really. Having 2 big dogs really hampers our “vacation” life. We really need someone to stay at our house and that person is hard to find.
Nothing is planned yet. The kids want to go to South Dakota to the Black Hills. I wouldn’t mind going there either so it’ll be a matter of making arrangements. I requested a visitor’s guide, but haven’t received it yet. What’s up with that? The state is next door to me and it takes over a week to get mail? We’ve also talked about going back to Hawaii with the kids within the next year b/c it’s cheap now. I looked last night and the 4 of us can go for what Toby and I went for! WTH is that?! All in good time I guess!
I have been to the black hills and had a really good time. Mt. Rushmore was awesome to see!! I gotta tell you Sue, I admire you! If I was to go to Hawaii there is no way in hell we would take the kids with us! LOL

Moving is good if your moving up of course.
Not sure about moving up. More to the left, I’d say.
