Nothing glamourous I’m afraid! May be £10 however the best type of money you can find in my opinion is the £5 note you left in a jeans pocket and forgot all about! Of course this wouldn’t apply if one had discovered the cash after washing said jeans!

I love it when you reach into a coat pocket or jeans pocket and find money. Washed or not, I use it!!! LOL

2 20 dollar bills in Hawaii I was in the 8th grade and of course broke so I was super thrilled. I remember stressing myself out way to much on how to spend it.

I used to live in an apartment that had a laundry room for the renters. I did a washed a load or two of laundry one day and when I went to move the loads from the washer to the dryer, I found a 50 dollar bill in one of the dryers. I was like Christmas I tell ya!!! 😀

I found $240 in an ATM machine, left there from the previous customer. But I would have felt too guilty taking it.

So I returned it to the bank. They were able to use the ATM records to find out who the money really belonged to.

It was just before Christmas. The guy who got his money back was so thrilled, he wrote a letter to the editor of the city paper, thanking me.

(Kinda embarrassing, but oh well). At least I felt I did the right thing.

That’s cool Friar!! You definately did the right thing by returning the money. That was really cool of the guy to write a letter to the paper also. It was a happy ending for the both of you.

Really cool that you took the money back. I would have also. It’s nice to know there are honest people out and about. It’s one thing to find it where you could never find the person who lost it but something like that, it’s great what you did.

Once when I was tidying up, I found two £20 notes and one £10, making £50 in total. It had been there for about 5 months I guess. Maybe more… it’s hard to say. I have found £10 in the snow before, though.
