      LOL jj…

Yes, I was a GS for a really long time. A lot of years. I stayed in a lot longer than most girls. I loved it. I still have my sash with all my merits badges and “stars” and stuff on them. Trinity got a Groovy Girl Girl Scout doll and I showed her my sash and she got so excited. I will give it to her some day but she’s a little to young right now.

A brownie and girl scout for a short time. I think we moved and that was that. I did like selling the cookies. A reason to be chatty :+).

I was a cub scout and a boy scout. I had a lot of fun as a scout. I met a lot of new friends and learned a lot of cool things. I stayed in scouting until it became “nerdy” to the other kids and I started getting “the business” from the other kids. I think I left scouting at the end of 7th grade.

Did you become an Eagle Scout????
I was never a girl scout!
I eat the cookies, does that count????
    LOL

I didn’t become an Eagle Scout, no. I didn’t stay in long enough. I have a lot of respect for the boys that do become Eagle Scouts. That’s certainly not an easy thing to do.

I eat the cookies too so if I count that, then that would make me a girl scout. Sorry, I can’t count eating the cookies Luisa. ROFL!

I was not in GS, I was a 4-Her! I did that from 3rd grade to my senior year in high school. I didn’t care if people thought it was nerdy because I had a lot of fun with my club and doing stuff for the fair and winning State Fair trips. I also was in a club with kids from different schools so that helped!

Hey, that sounds cool! Good for you Sue! I have never heard of “4-her” before. Similar to girl scouts??

Ahhhh, Since I wasn’t in GS I’m not positive, but I don’t think so. Both boys and girls are in 4-H and there are a lot of different “project areas” you choose from to learn things about. There’s also animals (horse, cow, pig, sheep, goat, you name it) that you can enroll in and take to the County Fair to participate in the shows and judging, same as the project areas. It’s about learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Here’s a link to better explain it!

Ohhhhhhhhhh, 4-H! Sure, I know what 4-H is!! I didn’t realize the H stood for “hers”. Sorry, brain fart!

That’s awesome and sounds like a lot of fun!

They are the best but I haven’t seen them around selling them for years.
I was in Navy Cadets at high school & then ended up in the Navy for 12 years till I was 30 after I left school.
