    This is cool. Does that top thing light up? I’ve never seen one like that.

      Thanks! Yes, it does light up. You normally see these types of crossing signs on poles like this around here when there is no arm that drops down over the street to alert drivers of the oncoming train.

    My son calls them “ding dings”! I told him once they were railroad crossing signals and he’s like, “no mom, they say ding ding ding so they’re ding ding’s!”
