Photo Of The Day – 03/30/09

worn“Worn Out”

My little buddy all worn out after a busy day of running around the house like a crazy monkey, chasing and tormenting the dog ALL through the house, being chased ALL through the house by the dog like a crazy monkey, watching cartoons, jumping on the bed, jumping off the bed, jumping on the furniture, jumping off the furniture, playing outside in the snow, drinking hot chocolate, playing with toys, getting EVERY SINGLE TOY out of his toy box and closet and placing them on the floor in his room to hide the carpet, picking up EVERY SINGLE TOY on his bedroom floor and putting them back into his toy box and closet to reveal the carpet, crying and throwing a fit because he had to pickup EVERY SINGLE TOY off his bedroom floor and put them back into his toy box and closet, asking questions, helping dad cook, sitting on mom’s lap then dad’s lap then mom’s lap then dad’s lap then mom’s lap then dad’s lap then mom’s lap then dad’s lap then mom’s lap then dad’s lap then mom’s lap in a 5 minute time period, running, jumping, crawling, hopping, skipping, walking, dancing, yelling, screaming, whispering, laughing, singing, making bubbles in his milk, coloring, pretending he can read a book, having sword fights, flying through the house because he is Superman or Spiderman, swinging on his swing in the back yard, pulling 10+ toys out of the garage to play with each one for about 3 seconds and leaving them spread out over the entire back yard, helping dad fold laundry, helping mom crochet his new blanket and complain because it’s not done yet and it’s taking her too long, talking non-stop, going in and out and in and out and in and out the front door, and one last meltdown at bedtime because darn it, he’s just NOT tired yet.

I should also mention that he puts smiles from ear to ear on my face and makes me laugh like there is no tomorrow each and every day.

I love you buddy.

Holy Cow!!! I think that has to be the longest sentence of all time. To funny. He sounds like a perfectly normal little boy and you sound like a very loving and patient father. Great photo. Love the thumb in mouth. I had one of those too.

LOL That’s what I thought when I wrote it. Yeah, he is a pretty typical four year old boy.

      Thanks Joy!!

He is getting a little better with the thumb sucking. Slowly but surely. 😀

I wouldn’t worry about the thumb sucking. I won’t say how old Toby was when he stopped because I might need the witness protection program but he was OLD!! and Jason was the one that needed braces!! That throws out the “teeth” theory.

LOL……yeah, better not say how old then. I don’t worry too much about it. He’s getting better with it all on his own. 😀

I love this picture! I love watching my kids sleep and try and go in at night to kiss them one last time without waking them up. They are so precious, but at the same time can drive you so nuts!

Oh yea I forgot….I LOVE playing swords and flying around the house!!! Bailey lived in a homemade cap when he was 3-4. The picture of your son is frame worthy!!
