Not really. Joy is pretty short to begin with so there really is no shortening it. I did know someone once who just made up names for me and that was kind of fun since nobody ever did it before. Every now and then my granddaughter calls me Grams but that’s really it. I have been called things that it would be best not to put here 😉
I only have one and the only one that calls me by this is my hubs sooooo, it may be inappropriate!!! lol
Other than that, I’m often called a nut, wacky, quircky, crazy, delusional and so many more! How bout you Gary?????
The answer is quite simple….it’s because I am a moron.
I noticed this feature one day while messing around with the blog settings and for some reason thought it was a good idea. Why? Because I am a moron. I find it to be quite annoying and more work than necessary. I have changed it and thank you for bringing it to my attention. 🙂
The only reason that I asked was I feel moderating them stifles conversation. It doesn’t allow back and forth conversation if you are perhaps not home and you may get more comments if you didn’t do that. I did it for a while with “new” commenters but I hated all the emails and stuff I had to go through. Another thing to consider is that a have a lot of people live in very different time zones. Say if one person would respond to another commenter, you wouldn’t see that at first if their comment didn’t show. Some people have people leave strange comments so I was “Just Curious” to quote you!!!
I have had great “conversations” that I’m not even up for that may never have taken place had I moderated! LOL!!
My parents called me “punky-poo” until I was about 5 and sometimes “punk” for short.
In my 20’s, I used to have a lot of lizards as pets and I was/am a HUGE fan of The Doors. So, my friends gave me the nickname “The Lizard King” after Jim Morrison.
My CURRENT nickname was given to me by my wife. She sometimes likes to call me “Big Daddy”. 🙂
Weesa.
I guess Luisa is hard to say, for some of us!
Yes.

Do you mind if I ask you why you moderate your comments? Have you had trouble with anyone?

I couldn’t agree more! For whatever reason, I thought it was a good idea at the time.
LOL!! I have a lot of those “seemed like a good idea at the time” moments!!!
So now for MY nickname(s).
