Our Family Has Grown

Paula decided after having Gizmo for a short time that having one morkie is just NOT enough. She thought it would be fun to get a female morkie and breed her with Gizmo. She asked if I would mind and I of course had no problems as I thought it would be fun as well. I’m a dog lover so having three dogs would be no big deal to me.

Paula began searching and searching for the perfect morkie for the family and Gizmo. After a couple weeks of searching, she found a breeder with her perfect morkie. The pup was not old enough to come and live at our home yet so Paula put a deposit on her and was forced to wait six weeks before she could bring her home. While waiting, Paula had already named her and checked on her growth and viewed new photos of her via the breeder’s web site every week. Paula had a pretty tough time waiting to get her but the day finally came Friday the 13th. I hope that’s not a bad omen! LOL

Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to the latest addition to our family, Bella.

At this point, normal people would be done with this post. However, we ALL KNOW that I am not normal so this post continues on……………

Shortly after Paula arrived home with Bella and I held her and “baby talked” her, I had to run off to Logan’s school. I had volunteered to come in and help Logan’s teacher prepare for the class Thanksgiving party. I was there for a couple of hours and when school ended for the day, Logan and I came home.

Logan instantly fell in love with Bella and they played and played together. While they were playing, Paula said she had a little surprise for me.

After having to find a new home for my dog Mojo, I got pretty bummed. I was so excited to have two puggles but it just didn’t work out between my dog Brody and Mojo. Knowing that I was pretty bummed out about it, Paula had been secretly looking for a puggle puppy for me. While I was helping out at the school, there was a new ad posted online for puggle puppies for sale. She showed the puppies to me online and told me she had already called the people about them and was waiting to hear back from them. I got really really excited and called also, hoping they would call ONE of us ASAP. A couple hours later they called back and let us know all six puppies were still available. We let them know it was a two hour drive for us and that we were on our way.

We arrived two hours later and I fell in love with what I thought was the cutest puppy of the litter. I was interested in getting a female this time and the cutest puppy of the litter just happened to be a female. We paid them and we were once again back in the car and on our way home.

Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to the latest LATEST addition to our family, Haley.

Strangely enough, the town in which Javajunkee lives in is about the half way point to where we picked up Haley. We called JJ to let her know we were coming through town and on the way back home, we stopped at her house for a bit. Paula and JJ finally got to meet in person and JJ got to see both Haley and Bella in person. It was great to see JJ again and see where THE JAVAJUNKEE lives, breathes, eats, bathes, blogs and facebook’s from.

My blogging buddy Leese from Living Me101 recently awarded me with the very first EVER “Left Of Center Award.”

I’ve always been a little off :: in a good way :: .. my dad always told me I was left of center.. and there’s nothing I love more then to read blogs written by people that are just like me.

And so..

Because I have no life and I’m all semi-obsessed with this whole award thing :: don’t fret.. it’ll pass.. like the time I was semi-obsessed with cross stitching :: I was sitting here thinking “… DAMN! I should make my own award!”

So I did.

BIG THANKS to Leese for thinking of little ole me when she created such an awesome award! It’s a GREAT honor to be considered ”Left Of Center” as Leese is and I somehow KNEW deep inside that someday I would be recognized for being so strange, quirky, random, silly, weird, insane and funny. My day has come thanks to you Leese. I owe you a debt of gratitude.

I would now like to thank some peeps for helping me get here in life. Before I begin though, if ANYONE see’s Kanye West enter the house, imma askin you readers to take care of his ass for me.

First and foremost I would like to thank the big man upstairs for bestowing upon me the qualities needed to be awarded such a stellar award. I would like to thank my parents for having sex and creating me. Without my dad getting funky with my mom, I wouldn’t be here. I would like to thank my wife Paula for believing in me. This award is just as much hers as it is mine. Last but certainly not least, I would like to thank YOU dear reader. Without your interest in my strange, quirky, random, silly, weird, insane and funny crap that get’s posted here, there would be no Gary’s World.

Although there is nothing “extra” I must do for this award, I feel that it would be a shame to horde such a stellar award all to myself. So keeping in the tradition of blog awards, I will now choose some bloggers that I feel fit at least some if not all of the requirements for this award.
