Hello World!

Hello! Welcome to my little piece of real estate in the blogosphere!!!

Although I’m not new to the blogosphere, this IS my first attempt at a blog of a more personal nature.  I have made it my new year’s resolution for 2009 to not only start a blog but to also make at least semi-regular posts.  (As you can see, I am somewhat of a slacker and didn’t want to make TOO hard of a resolution this year). 

Some blogs are about specific topics like politics or sports but I have no plans for any specific topics.  Here you will find my rants, raves and other useful or non-useful “stuff”.  Maybe an occasional recipe that I really like, my opinion of a book or movie or just whatever I feel like writing about.  It’s MY blog, right?

When asked by my wife why I wanted to start a blog, my answer was simple and concise “I just wanna.  Nothing more and nothing less”.  My number one fear, (and I don’t think i’m alone on this one) is that nobody will ever read it.  LOL  I guess time will tell on that one.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a very long relationship.
